Nobody tells you how much this hurts…or maybe they did and I just didn’t realize? I’ve never lost a pet as an adult; it’s been less than 12 hours and I feel like it’s been an eternity. I don’t know what I’m going to do without Russell, the world just feels so…empty. 💔🐶

Goodbye Russell
We said goodbye to our boy today. He drifted across the rainbow bridge full of all his favorite foods (ham, meatballs, & pâté), nestled between us on the couch (it was his favorite place to be). I’m going to miss you, my little puppy-rabbit, I’m going to miss you. 💔🐶🐕

I’m reminded of my favorite song from my favorite musical:

For good.…Of course, in my head, I’m changing out “people” with “dogs” but you get the idea…
Goodbye my little friend, I’m going to miss you…until we (hopefully) meet again. Thank you for letting me be your Human. 💔🐶

Just made an incredibly tough decision, one that me and my partner didn’t want to make but it’s for the best. Tuesday…and the lead up to the event is going to be rough. 😢😖

I might be the only one still playing Animal Crossing but one’s island doesn’t rearrange itself. 😃 Gotta give credit where credit is due, ACNH Travel Guide is a lovely companion app for the game.

“Waste not, want not” is a phrase my Partner took from his grandma’s grandma. I very much doubt she’d have applied it to finishing off a bottle of bloody mary mix but here we are anyway. 😅 (For the record, it’s a virgin drink, this is a working-day 🤪)

I’m still not sure how I was coerced onto the PRIDE Committee @ work but hanging out with a bunch of ADHD folks while trying to make things better for members of our Community…it’s a lot of fun. 🏳️🌈🤣

It’s funny…in all the time I’ve been a digital packrat, I’ve never had a Western Digital drive go bad…but the sole remaining Seagate IronWolf drive in my Synology is about to kick the bucket… 😔 Anyone care to guess which brand will be replacing it? 😅
