I sometimes feel like I’m the only person still using RSS feeds to stay up to date on news; it’s been working great for 10+ years but I think I need to modify my approach with filters: I really don’t care about new Google products, given most will be dead within 5 years. 🤣

Goodness, something is clearly going on today with dynamic advertising injection in podcasts b/c I do not speak any Spanish; it’s not that I don’t want to learn French or Spanish but the only languages I’m good at are computer languages. 🤣

In the past week, I deployed an update to a back-end service and started the rollout of an update to my desktop application. Two things: one, if you told me I’d be working on Windows Forms in 2023, I’d have laughed at you…and two, I need more coffee. 🤪☕️ Happy Friday!

Online advertising seems to get getting worse, at least for me. I’m not sure what online data collection profile thought it would be a good idea to advertise farming equipment to me but I don’t need a tractor. 🤣

As soon as I dropped my internet service with Charter / Spectrum, they started sending me a massive amount of junk mail. 😮💨 Why would I want to sign back up with y’all if you keep having outages in my area on an almost weekly basis???

Just filed my federal taxes… 😮💨 One question: why the *&%$ do they make this so bloody difficult?! If the government already knows what I owe and is just checking my paperwork, why don’t they send me a bill or send me a check?! 😱💰

Finished reading: The House Witch 3 by Delemhach 📚
★★☆☆☆I read the first two books earlier this year and enjoyed them…so when this book was released yesterday, I dug right into it…and didn’t stop until I finished. 🤓🥱 It’s a cute read, with one rather sad moment but still good.
