  • While on vacation, we lost power for two days; translation: all the food in our house is now bad. Just bought a giant battery for future outages, will add a solar panel down the road (this is the second time in six months we’ve lost power for an extended period of time). 🔌🪫

  • I really want to fix the ”networking setup” in the Airbnb; I opened up the cabinet, it was scorching in there. 😭

    Lots of networking gear (Uni-Fi access point, networking switch, google access point, Phillips Hue hub, and PoE injector) on a shelf, inside a cabinet.

  • Once again, my Mac Air crashing has corrupted both of my Time Machine drives…but don’t worry, “it just works." 😱

  • Impressed with this hotel wifi, on a Zoom call and running a local WebLogic Server with no issues. 👍🏻

  • Listening to a ton of podcasts this morning, mostly tech ones…and everyone is so excited about the Apple headset. Am I the only one not excited about it? 🎧

  • Lunch with a coworker. 🍴

  • Helped a friend set up his new Nintendo Switch…the OLED model…and now I want to buy one… 🎮😭

  • I feel like I just moved heaven and earth to get my Apple TV remote working with my Sonos Beam…but in the end, restarting the remote is what fixed it. Also, the absurdity of that just struck me: why are remotes to the point we have to be able to restart them…? 😱
