Oh how I hate coming into the Apple Store (selling back my Apple Watch); I don’t know why they hate lines but when you’re told to go stand “by that table” and then no one comes to help you, it’s incredible frustrating. 😮‍💨 ⌚️

🍿 Friends came over tonight and after hearing the list of “scary” options we had, they picked Ghostbusters instead of Hocus Pocus…and I have no complaints (especially as we watched Hocus Pocus last weekend with a different group of friends 😆).

Out shopping for tonight (having friends over to watch Hocus Pocus) and stopped by a local coffee shop for my annual pumpkin spice latte; the name of the shop might have changed but it still looks just like it did when a friend of mine and I would frequent it for breakfast back in the day. 🎃☕️ 📸

A few weeks ago, my Partner and I tried out a new (to us) Mexican restaurant, with some interesting decor. 😆 The food was tasty, we’ve been back more than a few times since. 🌮🇲🇽

Woke up to frost on the ground…not sure I’m ready for winter just yet. 🤣🥶

I tend to “fall in love” pretty fast with new tech gadgets…and past is prologue in this case; I just hope the infatuation with this new “watch” sticks. 🤣

For the first time since 2016, I’m not wearing an Apple Watch. 😬 Tired of dealing with mediocre battery life and wanting better health metrics, I’ve decided to give Garmin a try again. 🤯

My insurance wouldn’t refill a prescription, so Walgreens offered to fill it for me without insurance…the price: $256. 💊 The same medication / dosage at Costco: $10. 😱😡😤 Gotta love healthcare in ‘Murica. 🇺🇸

There is something cute / fun / odd about listening to a podcast and suddenly hearing French when they get to an advertising / commercial break…I guess I forgot to turn off my VPN last night. 😆🇫🇷

Finished reading: The Dark Healer: Book #1 by Nadya Lee 📚

This book was a surprise, I wasn’t really expecting much from it but I was wrong; the story is fascinating with an twist on the intersection of modern technology and magic, I’m excited for the next one. 😁

Finished reading: Loremaster: Winged Wolf by M.E. Robinson 📚

The story felt a bit rushed in places and the ending is a gigantic cliffhanger, I’ll obviously have to read the next book in the series when it comes out. 🤣😮‍💨

Finished reading: A Line In The Stars by Sean Fenian 📚

The final book in the series, the ending was predictable but how the story got there was not…it was a pretty satisfying conclusion. 😊

I haven’t really been happy with my phone Home Screen for a while, so…I’m trying a minimalist approach. 📱

Congratulations Apple, I will never again buy AirPods from you.

Apple: “it just works." …until it doesn’t and then you have to fight tooth and nail to get ahold of anyone who will actually help you. 😱
