  • 🍿 Decided it wasn’t too early to watch Home Alone, as it’s one of our holiday favorite. The amount of abuse those poor thieves take from Kevin…it’s funny/painful to watch. πŸŽ„

  • 🍿 Always a favorite, who doesn’t hope for some sort of miracle during the holiday season, especially after watching Miracle on 34th Street. πŸŽ…πŸ»πŸŽ„

  • 🍿 It wasn’t our first movie of the Holiday Season (sadly, we watched a bit of a stinker last night) but “While You Were Sleeping” was the perfect palate cleanser and a great movie to watch the night before our first snowfall of the year. ❄️πŸ₯ΆπŸŽ„

  • 🍿 Perhaps watching with a bunch of catty queens after a giant Thanksgiving meal with tons of wine wasn’t the best of ideas…but the best part of Hot Frosty was the bloopers at the end. πŸ·πŸ¦ƒ I don’t think this is going to enter the “must-watch holiday movies” playlist. 🀣

  • 🍿 Friends came over tonight and after hearing the list of “scary” options we had, they picked Ghostbusters instead of Hocus Pocus…and I have no complaints (especially as we watched Hocus Pocus last weekend with a different group of friends πŸ˜†).

  • 🍿 Date Night: we decided to watch a movie neither of us had seen and as we’ve been watching Fawlty Towers lately, we ended up on A Fish Called Wanda. By the end, our sides were hurting from all the laughing; 🀣 this movie is beyond absurd, in all the best possible ways.

  • 🍿 Date Night: Greek food and Sleepless in Seattle. It was my first time seeing it and yes, I would totally watch it again.

  • 🍿 In honor of Glynis Johns passing a few days ago, we watched The Court Jester tonight. It was an absolute riot, a musical comedy that spoofs elements of Robin Hood and had us laughing the entire time.

  • 🍿 For our last movie of the night, we’re watching Make the Yuletide Gay. As with most LGBTQ movies made in that era, it isn’t the greatest of movies but it is our Christmas Eve tradition. πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆπŸŽ„

  • 🍿 For the second viewing of the night, we’re watching the Holiday, one of my absolute favorite holiday movies. πŸ₯°πŸŽ„

  • 🍿 This movie has grown on me since last year, Spirited is kicking off the movie viewing experience of Christmas Eve. Three stars…but that might change once this movie is over. πŸŽ„

  • 🍿 Ended up doing a double-feature tonight and watched the Christmas Setup, a lovely holiday movie. πŸŽ„ It’s sappy but I do love seeing LGBTQ movies hitting the mainstream. πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

  • 🍿 We watched a Christmas Story tonight. πŸŽ„ It isn’t my favorite movie but my Partner loves it, so every year we watch it.

  • 🍿 Decided on a second movie tonight: The Holiday Sitter. πŸŽ„ It’s a silly Hallmark holiday movie but it’s rather adorable and kinda nice to see my people represented in the genre. πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ We’ll be adding this to our Holiday movie rotation.
