2024-10-25I took a random Friday off from work last month to drive down to my parents' lake house to help them with some heavy chores around their lake house…and this was the view from their dock. 🥺

2024-09-10A few weeks ago, my Partner and I tried out a new (to us) Mexican restaurant, with some interesting decor. 😆 The food was tasty, we’ve been back more than a few times since. 🌮🇲🇽

2018-10-30My Partner and I used to go to a local pizza bar, they had a wood-fire pizza oven and made the best food. 😋🍕 “Had” in the sense they’ve recently closed; they survived the pandemic but never seemed to fully recover. 😭📷

2013-04-27If you think the flooding is bad this year, back in 2013, large portions of the riverfront were soaked & closed. Something not pictured, directly to the right of me was a parking garage with a few cars stuck underwater. 🌧️🚗⛈️

2019-08-19We were walking along the beach in Florida (my Partner wanted to hit the lower 48 states before he turned xx) and stumbled upon some sort of battle in the sand…with no one else around; it was just us and figurines, with the ocean slowly encroaching. 🌊⛱️☀️

2019-09-07My employer rented out the local Six Flags (along with other companies, it was a corporate thing) for an “employee appreciation night." The park was mostly empty, so we had our choice of rides, with almost no lines. Took this photo at the top of the Ferris wheel. 🎡 🌅

2024-06-03Taken just a few days ago, I’d just flopped onto the bed after work, with my kindle in hand…when I heard a buzzing in my ear and something smacked my head. I looked around in bewilderment and saw this little fella right next to me on the bed. 😊
