★★★☆☆An interesting book, with a rather weird start to it all. The character development is a little lacking (I really want to know more of the backstory of the main character) but the magic / skill system is interesting.

★★★★☆The start of a promising series (I hope, sometimes authors just never write again), the magic system is complex and difficult to follow at times, as is the history, but this is a great book. 👏🏻

★★★☆☆A fascinating book, aliens drop by Earth, giving one person the ability to move the human race thousands of years ahead with technology. It’s very well thought out and detailed, especially the folly of human greed.

★★★☆☆The third book in the series, nothing much to say other than the story got even better and I’m excited for the forthcoming fourth book. 😊
