    โ˜…โ˜…โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†

This was a fun read, a magic users sleeps through what seems to be many cataclysms, awaking to a changed world, one where no one else knows how to use his type of magic.

    โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜†โ˜†

The second book of the series, I thought this was going to be predictable but it took some interesting and unexpected turns. I’m excited for the next book in the series (I really hate having to wait for “next books” ๐Ÿ˜†).

  • Another early morning breakfast with the bestie; between brunches and various thanksgivings / parties, I’m going to put on at least 10 pounds by the end of the year. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿ“ท

Breakfast sandwich (veggie burger, eggs, and cheese on a biscuit with a little bit of purple colored jam) with a wooden toothpick through the middle, the word 'Vegan' on it, on a plate. In the background is a glass of water and a glass of iced coffee.
  • No SimpliSafe, I don’t “miss you protecting me," if I did miss you I wouldn’t have canceled your service. In fact, if you hadn’t tried to gouge me, forcing me to pay you an extra $15 a month because I had “old” hardware, I’d likely still be paying for your service. ๐Ÿคญ

  • Date Night: Burgers (in my case, a veggie burger) @ Red Robin. ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ“ท

Two plates on a dark wood table, on two oval-ish white plates; fries on both of the plates but the plate in the foreground has a knife on it, as well as a burger.
  • Well, the Analogue Pocket color editions are already sold out, so I guess I don’t have to decide if I want to buy one or not… ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜ข

    โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜†โ˜†

I seem to be reading a lot of LitRPG books lately (as a recovering gaymer, that isn’t shocking), this one was a fun read. The main character slowly becomes more than he started and it’s predictable but still enjoyable.

  • Iโ€™ve never seen the food court at Costco so fullโ€ฆand given the amount of screaming babies around, it doesnโ€™t sound like anyone is happy about it. ๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜…

  • First and only peppermint mocha of the holiday season, from the “big” coffee chain. โ˜•๏ธ๐Ÿ“ท

Paper coffee cup, with a Starbucks heat-sleeve, on a table, with ceramic pumpkins in the background and a wireless charging puck.
  • ๐Ÿ“ท Two Thanksgivings down…I’m honestly not sure how many more to go at this point… ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿคฃ

Various Thanksgiving food (stuffing / dressing, salad, potatoes, cranberry sauce, roll) on a paper plate, with a fork.
  • Brunch for two this morning, my breakfast companion was rather hungry ๐Ÿคฃ (only the one of those plates are for me). ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿ“ท

Four plates full of breakfast food, with an omlet, hashbrows, biscuits / gravey, french toast, two servings of tots, and toast...along with two glasses of water and a cup of coffee in a paper cup.

    โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜†โ˜†

Another one in the LitRPG genre, I was pleasantly surprised by this book; it started off slow but I became very invested in the story relatively fast. The class / magic system isn’t as well defined as other books but it’s a very good read. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

    โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜†โ˜†

Stumbled upon this book and started/finished it in two days. If you’re a ga(y)mer or enjoy LitRPG as a genre, you’ll love this book. The magic system is fascinating, as is the backstory/history of the world in the book. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
