Finished reading: Imperial Wizard by J Parsons π
β β βββThis was a fun read, a magic users sleeps through what seems to be many cataclysms, awaking to a changed world, one where no one else knows how to use his type of magic.

Finished reading: Weeping Of Willows by Brandon Cook π
β β β ββThe second book of the series, I thought this was going to be predictable but it took some interesting and unexpected turns. I’m excited for the next book in the series (I really hate having to wait for “next books” π).

Another early morning breakfast with the bestie; between brunches and various thanksgivings / parties, I’m going to put on at least 10 pounds by the end of the year. π€£π³π·

No SimpliSafe, I don’t “miss you protecting me," if I did miss you I wouldn’t have canceled your service. In fact, if you hadn’t tried to gouge me, forcing me to pay you an extra $15 a month because I had “old” hardware, I’d likely still be paying for your service. π€

Finished reading: The House of Fire by Brandon Cook π
β β β ββI seem to be reading a lot of LitRPG books lately (as a recovering gaymer, that isn’t shocking), this one was a fun read. The main character slowly becomes more than he started and it’s predictable but still enjoyable.

Iβve never seen the food court at Costco so fullβ¦and given the amount of screaming babies around, it doesnβt sound like anyone is happy about it. π€ͺππ

Finished reading: Loremaster by M.E. Robinson π
β β β ββAnother one in the LitRPG genre, I was pleasantly surprised by this book; it started off slow but I became very invested in the story relatively fast. The class / magic system isn’t as well defined as other books but it’s a very good read. ππ»

Yes, finally got an @atpfm@mastodon.social pint glass! Quest completed! π€

Finished reading: Rune Seeker by J.M. Clarke & C.J. Thompson π
β β β ββStumbled upon this book and started/finished it in two days. If you’re a ga(y)mer or enjoy LitRPG as a genre, you’ll love this book. The magic system is fascinating, as is the backstory/history of the world in the book. ππ»

I realize I have an old Kindle (it’s the first version of the Paperwhite) but would it really be so hard for Amazon to auto-sync the time on the device like every other network connected device in the modern age? π€£
