You may be asking why I didn’t just write some code to add a blog onto my other website. Well, the answer to that is two-fold. One, I really didn’t want to take the time to develop and test software when I can just use some which has proved to be efficient and elegant. Second, my other website functions as a showcase and demo of my technical skills. It is the URL I give to perspective employers and fellow employees. I really don’t think it would be a good idea for them to read the stuff I post here…
So, with that said, I would like to thank WordPress for making some totally wicked software and Web Hosting Bluebook for creating the MistyLook theme. If you want to start a blog and have PHP support on your site, give WordPress a chance. It is a pretty good piece of software and I would recommend it to anyone!
