Lost In Haste

I just had a tour of vegan St. Louis. Yes, you did read that right. I Jon, the chicken/turkey/fish eating omnivore, had vegan/vegetarian food today, in mass quantities. As to why, well thats a good question.

Long ago, when I was a mere sophomore in college, I struck up a conversation with a fellow student by the name of Carol. Fast forward four years to when she decided to give up meat and then fast forward to now, when she kidnapped me from the safety of my apartment to force me to join her cult.

Yes you’re right, it really wasn’t that bad. I actually had fun…to a degree. Of course, Carol is a blast to hang out with, especially when I get make her laugh (she has an adorable giggle). We did end up having a great time at the various places where we dinned. The ending was the best chocolate cake I’ve ever had in my entire life.

So why b!tch about it? Um, because I’m me, haven’t you been reading this blog long enough?!?
