Lost In Haste

Well, I gave my two weeks notice.  Or in my case, one-week-and-four-days notice…  I thought that my manager would be upset and the consulting firm would be cool with it.  Oh how wrong I can truly be!  I told John and he was totally cool about the whole thing.  In fact, when I told him I felt guilty about leaving them high and dry, he said not to worry about it and that he would do the same thing in my position!

Spencer Reed was not so comforting…  I called and talked to my contact and gave her the news.  She didn’t say anything for a bit and when she started asking me about when I’d start and where I was going, I could tell that she was either dissapointed or angry.  I’m not sure which though but her voice just had the ring to it…
