The Butcher

The Butcher has struck again! Grrrrrr!!! Today at work I really wanted to throw this guy out the window!I actually thought about it! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
Oh, the stupidity!
This guy (who shall remain unnamed) has a laptop, so he can work from home. So last night he did some stuff to the section weâ??ve been working on for the past week. I had made plenty of changes yesterday, so he couldnâ??t commit the new parts he had created without removing my stuff. So he waited until he got into work.
He walked in (late of course) and immediately told me that he needed me to show him what I had done so he could merge our different code into one part. After I finished what I was working on (and of course he rudely asked me a few times to come over to his side of the table to merge the code) we got down to business. It took way too long to get it working and when I got back to my computer, I noticed that some of my code and some of his werenâ??t there! And of course, the most missing was my code!Â
I set off to fix some of the errors and in the process found a huge one. I wrote a creative solution around the problem, but like always, he didnâ??t like it and decided it should be changed. Then I mentioned that all of the work I had done yesterday was gone. Oh, when I realized this I almost cried! It took me so long to get everything working yesterday! And then in just two hours, everything was gone!
So, I mentioned this to John (the boss-man) and he-who-must-not-be-named and immediately, he (as in the Butcher) came over to my computer and took control without even asking me if it was alright. This isnâ??t the first time heâ??s taken control and driven (e.g.: to take control of the mouse) without letting me get in a word. He moved so fast I couldnâ??t see what on earth he was doing and by the time he released the mouse, things were more screwed up than before! He offered to help, but I would sooner jump out the window than let him help right now!
Iâ??m starting to wonder if I should be working at this place.Â
When ever this guy comes across any code Iâ??ve written, he immediately changes it! And just because he doesnâ??t like it!
Grrrrrrrrrrr!Next time he goes out the window!
