Sunrise, Sunset

To sunrise today was absolutely amazing! I just love how the early morning light makes everything golden. Add to that the incredible smell the rain brings and you have the start of a great day!
The question that you may be asking is why on earth was I awake to see the sunrise! Well, itâ??s a rather complicated explanation and the story spans a few days (which have been very very odd)…
It all started on Sunday. The day part of Sunday was alright but the night part of it rather sucked (see previous post for details). So I went running. That in itself should be odd but the really strange thing about it is that I went running with my then twenty-year-old brother. Please donâ??t ask how that happened (since I have no idea myself) but we ended up walking/running about a mile.
Work was work on Monday and I really canâ??t explain it (much less remember it) and when I got home I wanted to take out more anger on the road. So around 10ish my brother and I (once again, I have no idea how it happened) went out and walked/ran (but mostly ran) a little over two miles. I was a little bored after that and didnâ??t really feel like sleeping, so I picked up a book Iâ??d been stalling on. Why Did I Pick Up The Book???
I really blame Kelly for this one! She recommended it and it was just so amazing I couldnâ??t put it down. So when 2:30 (or was it 4) hit the clock, I forced myself (hitting my arm on the bed in the process) to set the book on the floor and turned of the light. Naturally, I didnâ??t fall asleep for a while since my mind wouldnâ??t stop trying to figure out what was going to happen next.
My late night escapades forced an extreme exhaustion in me at work the next day (as in yesterday) causing the day to drag by at a complete snailâ??s pace. I honestly canâ??t remember what I did the whole time… Fortunately, I filled out my spreadsheet so I canâ??t be yelled at (I know there is a better word but since Iâ??m giving up on caffeine and havenâ??t had any, I really canâ??t think) by a certain someone (you know who you are).
Traffic on the way home was surprisingly calm and I didnâ??t feel the need to yell. I ended up getting a call from Jessica (college friend). We talked for a while about the usual $hit (college and boys) and then planned out my visit on Friday night. Immediately after I got off the phone with her, I got a call from Colleen (high school friend). She was just starting to fill me in about how her weekend with the boy toy had gone, when I got a call from you know who… I hadnâ??t heard from this kid (yes I realize that I am young but I call everyone kid) since Sunday and now I was expected to go and hang out… I somehow managed to get out of it without appearing to be a giant a$$ but Iâ??m wondering if I should just say what Iâ??m thinking and feeling… (again, see previous post)
Anyway, upon my arrival to the house I threw my stuff down and picked up the book. I somehow read through a few chapters in-between dealing with my brother bothering me to go have a drink with him (it was his twenty-first birthday) and my extreme exhaustion. They were good chapters and I was finally getting some answers but I somehow fell asleep! I looked up at my clock and it was 3am! WTF!
I somehow got down the stairs and my mother was waiting for me at the bottom. I asked what was up (I know, who says that at three in the morning) and she looked up at me, told me I had woken her up, and then went right back into her room. Odd, even for her… I stumbled to the sink, got some water, and then back up to my cave.
I somehow feel asleep again (Iâ??m still not sure how) and woke up @ five. After giving some serious thought to going back to bed and skipping work, I rolled out of bed and made my way to the bathroom. Before I made it to the door, my brother lifted the towel over the hole in his door (very long story) and asked me what I was doing up. After noticing the girl in his room on his computer, I didnâ??t answer and just kept walking.
After I got out, I noticed how beautiful it was, so I went outside for a bit and then started typing. The rest is history!
