Party Games

Ok, I’ll be the first to admit it. I really thought last night was going to be a bust. My friend Marietta decided to have a party. Well, when it comes to the plans my friends and I make, nothing ever seems to go exactly the right way… So it came as no surprise when people started canceling on her.
As it ended up, out of our core group of friends, only Tammy, Marietta, and I were left. So, when I got to her house, they had already been well into the Vodka. Being who I am, I wasted no time in catching up to them! :) After a while, one of Marietta’s friends from her college showed up and joined us. I had asked her if he was cute, and she said kinda. But when he walked through the door, my jaw almost dropped! Miles was hot and cute all at the same time! As if that wasn’t enough, he’s also smart! What a package deal!
We played some games, ate some food, drank some more vodka, and talked for what seemed like hours. So when we looked at the clock and it showed the small hand on the three, we were rather shocked. After the hand hit the four, we called it a night. I think I feel asleep after 6 because when I got back to my place, I watched a little Star Trek Voyager!
