After all these years, I finally broke down and bought a LCD for my computer! The graphic quality isn’t as good as my old CRT, but the screen is slightly bigger and doesn’t weight a ton! …the weight factor would have helped in college when I was lugging the damn thing around every time I moved in and out of the dorms, but oh well. No use crying over spilled caffeine.
The screen is cool, but what I’m really loving is my new 500GB hard drive! I have two already in my computer, but they aren’t cutting all the storage I need (way too much music and far too many DVDs), so I went to Newegg.com and the rest is history! The drive I bought interacts with SATA (and my motherboard doesn’t like that), so I was forced to purchase an external enclosure. It supports both SATA and IDE (which is good b/c eventually I’ll put in the new drive into some computer and be left with an IDE) but I’m not sure it’s up to the task of keeping the drive cool…
