Movie Maddness

I should be ashamed of myself! I’m really falling behind on my blogging! The odd thing is that I have no idea how it happened… I was doing fine, posting @ least a few times a week and now I’m lucky to just get one in… And the worst part of about the whole thing is that Matt was right!
No More! I’m vowing here and now to get back on the horse and start up my posting again! All I have to do is balance it among the various pet projects being juggled in the air.I just wish I was better at juggling…
So Saturday rolled around and I had planned on getting up @ 8ish to go biking. Well…I didn’t… Instead I slept in (yes Autumn, you were right) and woke up at 10ish with just enough time to jump in the shower, grab some cheerios and speed like hell to the mall to hang out with Diane. We finally got a chance to go watch Spider Man 3. I was a little worried that it would suck (people from work were talking about how disappointing it was at lunch one day) but happily, my fears were completely unjustified! It was amazing! …Granted, the ending could have been a little better (I’m a real sucker for happy endings) but the fight scenes were so wicked!
After the movie (and a huge bag of popcorn) I headed over to Marietta’s place for some pizza and movies. Tammy was already there when I drove up (ok, I was so totally late but thats besides the point), so we all sat in the living room and talked about the usual (jobs, weight loss, and boys) until the pizza showed up. FYI: Imos is the best!
So after eating like pigs (and having way too much garlic bread), we finally managed to shut up and got to the business of the movie night. Now, I’ve been mocked for my taste in movies and I’ll be the first to admit I’ve picked some bad ones, but Friends With Money has to be the worst movie I’ve seen in years! I can’t believe Jennifer Aniston was in this piece of crap! Granted the idea of the movie has some merit but it was so poorly executed it didn’t have a chance!
After watching that garbage, I stole the remote and force the girls to watch Yours, Mine and Ours (the ‘05 version not the 1968 version). It was a little cute and had some laughs, so it totally kicked the other movie’s a$$. After it was over and some more oreos found their way into out mouths’, we went out separate ways, full of far too many calories…
