Lunch Prices

It isn’t often my Father calls to take me to lunch. So when he did today, I jumped at the opportunity. After all, it would be rude to me to decline his invitation, especially when he offerers to pay…Â
However, this time he wanted me to try something new, so we ended up on South Grand at the Lemongrass, a Vietnamese restaurant. I was a bit worried about the food…alright, I was very worried… I’m a rather picky eater and trying new foods hasn’t really worked out for me that well. Thankfully, the food surpassed my expectations! The taste wasn’t nearly as overpowering as Chinese food can be and was far healthier. Add in the hot waiter, and you have yourself one heck of a good lunch! Hmmmm, that doesn’t sound too good, does it…?
Unfortunately, everything comes with a price, even a free lunch… The entire way back to the office (which was longer as he managed to lose himself) my father proceeded to lecture me on the evils of the Democrats. When I finally interrupted his tirade to tell him about the bike I was in the process of buying (long story) he switched from politics to money! I suppose you can never win when it comes to your parents…
