Lost In Haste

I don’t really know when it happened.  Hell, I don’t even know how it happened!  It really shouldn’t have happened, not at all.  However, the fact is that I’m actually enjoying my job…

Yea I know, big shocker!  Well, if you happen to work with me, you hear all of the b!tch!ng I do and you might just wonder what the heck I’m doing @ infuz.  Since day one, I’ve been moaning and complaining.  A never-ending stream of curses has been flying from my area since I sat down and realized the kind of mess I had gotten myself into.

But some how, I’ve come to enjoy it.  I missed being at work last Friday (stomach issues), not being able to fix the crap QA was sending in my direction.  I’ve actually accepted that I have to go back into the office on Mondays and strangely look forward to it.  What on earth is the matter with me???

Now don’t get me wrong, its still frustrating as hell at times and I often want to toss the servers out the window…  A prime example of that would be what happened at the end of today.  I was pushing some changes to Production and couldn’t get said changes to reflect on the website for the life of me!  Once everything was said and done and the changes were actually live (with Marc’s help of course), I was so pissed off!  Oh, the stupidity of the people who set this thing up!  But on the way home, my anger cooled and I realized that work had actually been fun…

I think I’m either going insane or finally adjusting to the real world…  Either way, I’m happy with it!
