Lost In Haste

Oh the inhumanity!  I was stuck on highway 40 for forty minutes today after my interview! It was not a pleasant experience…  I had a tail-gater behind me for the better part of thirty minutes, constantly trying to get as close to my tail pipe as humanly possible.  On no less than three occasions, he almost ran into me because the moron was on his cell phone!

Now, the question that may be forming in your mind is ‘why on earth where you on 40 Jon if your job is right off Page?’  Well, thatâ??s a good question. The answer is quite simple: I was @ a job interview.  It actually went pretty well.  I met with the vice president of the IT department and he talked forever!  Then I met with the manger I would be reporting too if I got the job.  He didn’t have any more questions for me, so we just shot the breeze for a few.  As I was leaving, they said I would know if they were going to offer me a job by tomorrow!

The only problem is what I’m going to do about the job I have right now (assuming I’m offered the job @ CPI).  Those of you who actually know me realize that I HATE to ruffle feathers and anger people I donâ??t know that well.  I’m sure if I leave the job before Merlin (the name of the application I’m working on) is deployed in April, Iâ??ll be doing bothâ?Š
