Lost In Haste

Before I get into the near-disaster which occurred on my way to work today, here is a tiny insignificant FYI: I’ve updated my About Me page.  Take a look if you want….or not, its your choice…

Anyway, straight (or sort of) to the heart of the matter.  I was almost in a car crash!  I had just gotten off Page Ave and was at a stop light.  I looked to my left and say this woman/girl in the car next to me.  Normally that would be it, but guess what she was doing!  …Putting on makeup!  Grrrrr, I hate it when people do that in the car!

So, the light turns green and I race off into the sunset…oh wait, wrong story…  Anyway, most of the cars in front of me went straight, while I was turning left.  Naturally I sped up since I was running just a tad late for work.  I was driving along my merry way when the idiot in the green car who was still putting on make up decided that she wanted to kill me!  She started getting over into my lane (without her f#%king blinker of course).  At first I thought that maybe she didn’t know what she was doing because the application of make up was taking precedence over driving.  But she kept coming over!  I almost went off the road to avoid the stupid bi$#ch!  I slammed my breaks and hit my horn (which I try never to do b/c when I hear a horn I immediately freek out and I imagine other people have the same reaction).

What did she do, you ask?  NOTHING!  Except flick her hair at me!  Oh, I was SO angry!I was also slightly queasy, but that’s another story…
