Candles and Vines

It was just like being back in the candle store. The scent was so similar it could have been called identical! It was just like my nose was back in the candle jar today when I was on the trail.
Last weekend, Diane and I went shopping for Mother’s Day gifts. We ended up @ a candle store in the mall. I don’t know about you, but I love walking into a candle store. The second you walk in, your nose is assaulted with a variety of tantalizing scents. You’d think all of the different flavors mixed together would be offensive, but somehow they all mesh together in a perfect manner…
While we were in the store, I wandered over to the floral sent area. They had the usual: vanilla, rose, lavender. However, while my nose was looking around, my eyes noticed the honeysuckle. Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve loved honeysuckle! I can’t get enough of it! Sadly, most people find the sent a tad overpowering. So imagine my surprise when my nose realized the candle was perfect!I would have bought it in an instant if I’d been able to justify the expense to my bank account…
Unfortunately, I haven’t been over to my Grandma’s this week, so I haven’t had the chance to get a whiff of honeysuckle (she has an entire hillside covered by the lovely vine), so when I saw some on the Trail today I was totally excited! I only saw it in a few place, but the delicious aroma was everywhere today when I was biking! It make the work-out totaly worth it!
